Installing Power BI

This article includes the steps required to install the free version of Power BI Desktop. 

Notes:

This article for the administrator who has the authority to install applications.

What you need to do?

1. Go to the official Microsoft Power BI Desktop download page at https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/desktop/.
2. Click on the "Download free" button.
3. You will be asked to sign in with a Microsoft account. 
4. Once you sign in, select the version you want to download (either 32-bit or 64-bit), and click on the "Download" button.
5. Once the download is complete, open the downloaded file.
6. Run application and install administrator password if requested.
7. Follow the instructions provided by the installation wizard to install Power BI Desktop on your computer.
